Bayside Capital has four offices in the United States and one in Paris, and forty investment professionals with expertise in multiple industries. Bayside usually targets businesses with revenues of $50+ million and invests $5 to $100 million per transaction, and focuses on companies with operations in the United States and Canada. There are no industry restrictions. It does not invest in start-up enterprises, real estate ventures, or project finance. Bayside seeks to purchase controlling interest in its portfolio companies, but considers attractive minority investments as well. It purchases all types of securities associated with a recapitalization of the business including equity and debt. Bayside has extensive experience in out-of-court restructurings, plans of reorganization, bankruptcy sales, DIP financings and related transactions.
